I hope you are enjoying our recent cool weather. We haven’t had a June this nice in many years. It was perfect weather for our recent day trips to Kobe, Kyoto, and Shirahama, we well as the big school trip to Hokkaido. I hope you all had a great time!

Someone gave me a nice present from their Hokkaido school trip. I had never seen this flavor before!

Did you know there was melon flavored Black Thunder? That is amazing! I have it in my desk and I will eat it on Saturday afternoon after the week is finished. I am really looking forward to it.

After some searching I found out that Hokkaido actually has many special flavors. There is a strawberry milk one that looks exciting, too. As well, Kyoto has a green tea flavor (of course) while Osaka has a caramel flavor. If you find yourself in Okinawa there is a sugarcane bar that I would like to try.

Black Thunday… not always black!
