Hello everyone,

Welcome back to school. I hope you enjoyed your summer vacation. It was hot as always, but in the evening it was cool enough to enjoy walking my dogs. Now it is time to get ready for the second term.

For H1DEF, the first big event is the Advanced Communication Program. This week they will have special English lessons and activities in groups, with leaders who are foreign students attending university in Japan. There is a wide range of countries represented including Myanmar, Indonesia, Bosnia, and Turkey.

Hopefully this program will help our students find confidence in using English, as well as give them a new kind of learning experience. Enjoy!
