Oh my god! What a day!

Today was the first day of the high school volleyball tournament.

It was tremendous! Just tremendous!

You Shin-ai students played with so much energy and enthusiasm. It was truly amazing to watch you. Your enthusiasm just rose and a rose and overflowed like a tide (上げ潮).

And the cheering was so loud and so exciting! Even we teachers who were just watching and listening felt some of your overwhelming energy flow over us too. おおなみのように🎵

You played well; you cheered well; you won with grace; and you lost with great dignity and respect.

I love the volleyball tournament. I love watching you all play.

You make me love this school even more than I did yesterday.
