Hello everyone,
Last Friday was a busy day for students… but most of them were not in the classroom! Junior high school students went to Kumanokodo, or had some work experience. Second year high school students were on their trip to Shikoku. Finally, first year high school students visited various universities as they start thinking about their choices in the future.
It was the first time in three years that our students have been able to go on a university visit. They were limited to Wakayama, but fortunately we had five to choose from. I went to a new university called “Takurazuka University of Medical and Healthcare” with 15 students.
This is a new building, so the inside was very nice. We learned about the different programs available, from nursing to physical therapy, to occupational therapy. We had three mini-lectures, a campus tour, and then lunch. I also had the chance to see some former Shin-ai students who were studying there. Everyone has grown up so much!
The weather was beautiful, the school was interesting, and I hope it gives our students some more focus as they start studying for final exams. Good luck everyone!
