It was a great day for first year Shin-Ai students.<\/p>\n
We divided into groups and went out to do our fieldwork.\u00a0 My group went to Wakayama Medical University Hospital.\u00a0 It was my first time there, and I was so impressed with the facility.<\/p>\n
One of our aims was to see the ‘Doctor Helicopter’, which is famous.\u00a0 It can fly to anywhere in Wakayama prefecture in 30 minutes to save people.\u00a0 But just when we arrived to see it, the helicopter flew away because of an emergency.\u00a0 Too bad.<\/p>\n
But we were still able to get a tour of the library and enjoy the Medical Skills Laboratory.\u00a0 We could use some of the tools and equipment, like the stethoscope (\u8074\u8a3a\u5668) and listen to the heartbeat of a patient doll.\u00a0 It was so cool!<\/p>\n
And we received a lecture from the head of the hospital, Dr Ueno.\u00a0 We learned a lot about maintaining good health, and he helped us think about some of the medical and health problems in Wakayama prefecture.<\/p>\n
