Hello everyone,<\/p>\n

Here is today’s Bible Talk from this morning. Thank you as always to Ms. Otani for translating it.<\/p>\n

Good morning, today\u2019s reading is Psalm 23, 1-6<\/p>\n

1<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>The\u00a0Lord\u00a0is my shepherd,\u00a0I lack nothing.
\n<\/em>2<\/sup><\/em><\/strong> He makes me lie down in green pastures,<\/em>
\nhe leads me beside quiet waters,
\n<\/em>3\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>he refreshes my soul.<\/em>
\n<\/em>\u00a0He guides me<\/em>along the right paths<\/em>
\n<\/em>for his name\u2019s sake.<\/em>
\n<\/em>4\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>Even though I walk<\/em>
\n<\/em>through the valley of death,<\/em>
\nI will fear no evil,
\n<\/em>for you are with me;<\/em>
\nyour rod and your staff,
\n<\/em>they comfort me.<\/em><\/p>\n

5\u00a0<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>You prepare a table<\/em>before me<\/em>
\n<\/em>in the presence of my enemies.<\/em>
\n<\/em>\u00a0You anoint my head with oil;<\/em>
\n<\/em>my cup<\/em>overflows.<\/em>
\n6\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Surely your goodness and love\u00a0will follow me
\n<\/em>all the days of my life,<\/em>
\n<\/em>\u00a0and I will dwell in the house of the<\/em>Lord<\/em>
\n<\/em>forever.<\/em><\/p>\n

I think it is natural to feel overwhelmed these days. We have all been living with the reality of covid-19 for a couple years now. When I start to get frustrated, or scared, I turn to my faith in the lord as my protector.<\/p>\n

As we read this Psalm, we can see that our faith in God is rewarded with many things. Our soul is refreshed, our way forward is revealed, and our cup is filled to overflowing.<\/p>\n

Keeping our faith ensures that God\u2019s love will follow us throughout our lives, and that life will be full and rewarding.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
