The English recitation contest was recorded last week and we watched the video of it today in homeroom. Congratulations to everyone who participated.<\/p>\n<p>The grade 1 students chose either \u201cZorba\u2019s Promise\u201d or \u201cI\u2019ll always Love You\u201d. Grade 2 students all performed the classic Frog and Toad story \u201cThe Letter\u201d. Grade 3 students did a story about Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, or \u201cThe Carpenter\u2019s Gift\u201d, a story about neighborly love.<\/p>\n<p>It is difficult to remember a long story, but that is only half the job. The other half is telling the story in an interesting and energetic way. But, actually, telling the story with passion makes it easier to remember.
